Both hotels are comfortable 3 star properties. In Makkah the walk or shuttle ride takes around 10 to 15 minutes, which most healthy adults manage easily for every prayer. Restaurants and shops are close by.

You travel with a small group and a group leader who explains the steps of Umrah before and during the trip. It is a good fit for first timers, women travelling with a group and anyone who prefers company.

Day by day

  1. Day 1Depart from Birmingham

    Flight to Jeddah. Men change into Ihram before boarding or during the flight, and everyone makes the intention before crossing the Miqat. The crew usually announces it.

  2. Day 2Arrive in Makkah and perform Umrah

    Transfer to your hotel, rest briefly, then perform Tawaf, pray two rakat, drink Zamzam, complete Sa'i and cut or shave the hair.

  3. Day 3 to 6Worship in Masjid al-Haram

    Pray in the Haram, perform extra Tawaf and join a guided Ziyarat to Jabal al-Nour, Mina, Muzdalifah and Arafat.

  4. Day 7Travel to Madinah

    Coach transfer to Madinah, about five hours with a rest stop, then check in near Masjid an-Nabawi.

  5. Day 8 to 11Time in Madinah

    Pray in Masjid an-Nabawi, send salam to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and visit Quba Mosque, Uhud and Masjid al-Qiblatayn with a guide. Rawdah visits are booked through the Nusuk app when slots are available.

  6. Day 11Fly home to Birmingham

    Transfer to the airport for your flight home. Buy Zamzam in the sealed bottles sold at the airport, as airlines limit how it is carried.

Is the price per person?

Yes. The starting price is per person based on four people sharing a room, including the flight shown. Triple and double room prices are listed above.

Can I join the group from another airport?

Yes. We can book your flight from a different UK airport to meet the group in Saudi Arabia. The price may change slightly.

Can I upgrade the hotel?

Yes. You can upgrade one or both hotels. Tell us in your enquiry and we will send the difference in price.

Is my booking protected?

Flight inclusive packages are protected under the ATOL scheme when you receive an ATOL Certificate. Please read our booking conditions or ask us which protection applies to your booking.

Are your prices per person?

Yes. Every price on the website is per person in pounds sterling. The final price depends on your travel dates, departure airport and how many people share a room, and we confirm it in writing before you pay.

What is included in an Alfalah Travel package?

Each package page lists exactly what is included. Most packages include the Umrah visa, return flights with options from London, Manchester, Birmingham and Edinburgh, and hotels in Makkah and Madinah. Ground transport and Ziyarat can be added where they are not included.

How do I book?

Send an enquiry from any package page, call us on 020 3740 4333 or message us on WhatsApp. We reply with a written offer showing flights, hotels and the total price. To confirm, you pay a deposit and send passport copies. The balance is due before travel, by a date we agree in writing.

Is my booking financially protected?

Flight inclusive packages are protected under the ATOL scheme when you receive an ATOL Certificate. The certificate lists what is protected. Please read our terms and conditions, or ask us to confirm what protection applies to your booking.

Can I change the hotels or number of nights?

Yes. Every package can be adjusted. Use the Umrah Package Builder or tell us what you need and we will send a revised price.

What happens if I need to cancel?

Cancellation charges depend on the airline and hotels in your booking and how close to departure you cancel. Before you pay, we give you the cancellation terms in writing. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
